Botanical Name: Leucanthemum x Superbum ‘Becky’
Becky is another long blooming perennial that deserves a home in everyone’s garden. This is a taller than average Shasta daisy, reaching heights of 24 to 36 inches with a similar spread, adapting well to average garden soil with little moisture. Even though it is taller, it rarely needs support, especially when grown in areas that other plants would find challenging. The usual bloom period of July to September can be extended with deadheading. The pure white flowers with a bright yellow center make long-lasting flower arrangements when put in a vase with a small amount of water. Divide the plants every 3 to 4 years to propagate and increase their vigor.
