Purple Palace was one of the earliest purple leaved heucheras developed. Since then, hundreds of other varieties have been developed in many bold and subtle colours, giving gardeneners a smaller alternative to hosta. Grown primarily for its leaves, Purple Palace also has creamy spike with a touch of blush that appears in early summer. The mounding clump of leaves have colours from bronzy green to purple red should be clipped back hard in the Spring. Heuchera can be grown in sun to partial shade,
perfoming best when provided with organic matter in the soil. Wonderful as edging or an accent plant.
