Botanical Name: Coreopsis verticillata ‘Moonbeam'

Zone: 3-9

Size: 18 to 24 inches

Additional Notes:

Anyone new to flower gardening should try this plant…it thrives with little maintenance, blooms from June until Fall, tolerates poor soil, needs little moisture and is easy to divide. Moonbeam is a threadleaf
variety from the tickseed family. Its finely cut leaves give it a delicate airy appearance, and its bright lemon yellow flowers attract butterflies. Hardy from Zone 3 to 9, it will grow 18 to 24 inches high and wide and requires full sun. It is superb as edging, in masses or as a specimen plant. Other threadleaf varieties include ‘Zagreb’ with golden yellow flowers and ‘Creme Brulee’ which has creamy yellow colouration.
