Goldsturm 1998 Magnus Purple Coneflower
Botanical Name: Echinacea purpurea ‘Magnus’
The tall clumps of Magnus coneflower will reach a height of 24 to 36 inches and will grow in dry,
average or moist soil. It also seems to be indifferent to full sun or partial shade: indeed, better colour occurs when grown with some shade. The rosy pink three inch flowers have petals that come straight out from the reddish brown cone. Extremely hardy, this low maintenance plant is attractive to butterflies and birds. Blooms from early July until mid-fall.
