LIVE CHRISTMAS TREES TO DO LIST:
Find the perfect tree and take it home!
-Store the tree in a cool location such as an unheated garage so the tree can slowly thaw. This helps prevent needle drop.
-Give the tree trunk another fresh cut to help it draw water.
-Spray the needles with Wilt-Pruf to prevent them drying out.
-Thoroughly wash and sterilize tree stand. Bacteria left from other years will prevent the tree from drawing water.
-Fill the stand with fresh water and add a tablespoon of vinegar or a few drops to prevent bacteria forming.
-Monitor the water daily adding more when needed.
