Common Milkweed Seeds, Vesey’s
Aclepias syriaca. NATIVE. This butterfly and bee favourite produces light pink flowers attracting many foraging insects. Common Milkweed prefers full sun and loamy soil but can tolerate a variety of conditions. Milkweed attract many types of pollinators, but is best known for being the sole host plant of the famous Monarch Butterfly.
Large clusters of flowers will bloom for many weeks and are followed by attractive green seed pods. This monarch favourite grows 36-48″ tall.
