Growing Information

Best grown as a HHA – Half hardy annual. Usually grown in baskets or containers or used as edging. Sow January-April under glass in gentle heat. Flowers July-September.

Sowing Information

Sow singly or small groups spaced about 1cm ( 1?2″) apart in trays of good seed compost. Press gently into the surface and germinate at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F). Do not cover seed and keep in a light yet shaded position and maintain moisture. Germination 10-21 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle 5cm (2″) apart in trays and grow on. Plant in hanging baskets or containers after carefully acclimatizing to outside conditions. Ideally leave 10cm (4″) between plants.
