Pumice is an excellent growing medium. It allows oxygen, water, and nutrients to travel throughout plant root systems naturally and maintains a reserve of stored nutrients in microscopic pores.

Pumice is ideal for succulents and cacti as it dramatically increases water retention in sandy or clay soil, allowing efficient distribution of nutrients and liquids. Additionally, pumice prevents soil erosion and protects roots from surface exposure. Its neutral pH level makes it suitable for any plant or growing conditions.

This material is excellent for rooting plant cuttings, helping avoid root rot.
