A wide range of popular shapes and colours. Lovely in borders or vases. All pollen-free. Height 80-150cm (32-60″). HA – Hardy annual.

Easy to grow and a real favourite with children. Flowers like very large daisies with brightly coloured petals. Pollen-free varieties are ideal for hayfever sufferers and for cutting. Use petals and seeds in salads and cakes.

Sow under glass March-April and outdoors April-June for flowers July-September.

Sowing Information

Sow the seed thinly 13mm ( 1?2″) deep direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed free soil where the plants are to flower. Germination usually takes 10-15 days. As the seedlings develop, thin them out gradually to achieve a final spacing of 30cm (12″). For early flowering sow indoors in Feb-Mar. transfer into pots and trays then acclimatise before planting outside where the plants are to flower, once the risk of frosts have disappeared.
