A dwarf, multi-headed sunflower producing an abundance of extraordinary flowers. An adorable addition to patios or borders and great for cutting too. Height 40-60cm (16-24″). HA – Hardy annual.

Easy to grow and a real favourite with children. Use petals and seeds in salads and cakes.

In 2015 the RHS trialed Sunflowers and awarded this product the Award of Garden Merit, they said about this variety – striking double, large heads, rich yellow-orange, floriferous, performing well over a long period.

Sowing Information

Sow the seed thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed free soil where plants are to flower, 13mm ( 1?2″) deep (Germination 7-21 days). As the seedlings grow thin in stages to achieve a final spacing of 25-30cm (9-12″). For early blooms sow indoors in April, carefully acclimatize plants to outside conditions and plant out mid-late May. Grow in a well manured soil in a sunny position and keep moist. Alternatively, you can grow on the patio in 20cm pots.
