Our best beet for pickling. Taunus is an intense dark-red, cylindrical beet that is easy to slice. This hybrid produces smooth slim 6-7″ roots that are ideal to use for canning, freezing, or pickling. Harvest at full size or baby fingerling beets leaving tops on for delicious greens. They have high resistance to cracking. Days to maturity 60-80 days.
